Curriculum Vitae
My research background covers a range of simplistic and complex 3D atmospheric and coupled modeling. I currently study the dynamics of Europa’s icy shell and how material can be cycled through. This may be possible by the presence of brines within the shell, depressing the freezing point and creating channels. Ice also behaves more like a mineral on Europa acting like the highly viscous mantle of Earth moving over very long timescales. Given our limited access to observational data, and the upcoming Europa Clipper mission, it’s important to use models to provide insight into regions of astrobiological interest.
